摘要：本文探讨了在全球化背景下，英语教师在英语教学中扮演的中介角色及其重要性。随着教育理念的革新和教学方法的进步，英语教师的角色已从传统的知识传递者转变为学习促进者、技能培养者、评估反馈提供者以及自主学习的引导者。文章分析了教师如何有效利用教学策略、技术和资源来激发学生的学习兴趣，促进其语言技能和批判性思维的发展，以及如何通过评估和反馈机制促进学生的个人成长和终身学习能力。此外，强调了教师在引导学生理解和运用英语进行跨文化交流、以及在面对教育环境变化时自我更新和专业发展的重要性。本文旨在为英语教育实践提供洞察和建议，以提高教学和学习效果。

The intermediary role of English teachers in English teaching

Abstract:This paper discusses the intermediary role played by English teachers in English teaching and its importance under the background of globalization. With the innovation of educational ideas and the progress of teaching methods, the role of English teachers has changed from the traditional knowledge transmitter to a learning promoter, a skill trainer, an evaluation feedback provider and a guide to autonomous learning. This paper analyzes how teachers can effectively use teaching strategies, techniques and resources to stimulate students' interest in learning, promote the development of their language skills and critical thinking, and how to promote students' personal growth and lifelong learning ability through evaluation and feedback mechanisms. In addition, it emphasizes the importance of teachers in guiding students to understand and use English for cross-cultural communication, and in the face of changes in educational environment, self-renewal and professional development. This paper aims to provide insights and suggestions for English education practice, so as to improve the teaching and learning effect.
